Story
Alpha Autonomy emerged from Vertliner, a robotics venture which operationally established in 2021 with a bold mission: To make robotic platforms - starting from drones - truly autonomous in the world’s most challenging environments. From its earliest days, the company focused on developing embodied AI algorithms that live within the machine, enabling real-time perception, decision-making, and action without the need for external control.
Over the years, our technology matured through demanding industrial use cases, from inspections in confined and hazardous spaces to operations in GPS-denied environments, while also expanding into dual-use applications. Each milestone reinforced our belief that autonomy is not just a feature, but a necessity for safety, efficiency, and mission success.
In 2025, Vertliner evolved into Alpha Autonomy, an entity that reflects both our expanded mission and our commitment to pushing the boundaries of AI-powered robotics.
